This section details my work with creating worlds in various forms, and showcases both my ability to pay attention to detail and see the bigger picture.
The Lost Heir of Aurealis: A Legacy of Blood & Power
This project is the basis of my Capstone, in which I wanted to bring to life the fantasy world I have been brainstorming in my free time, as well as showcase a variety of skills that I've learned throughout my education. Including but not limited to 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, lighting, character design, digital painting, illustration, and 2D animation.
Retrovaille: Forgotten Fragments
This project for a Game Design class, was to come up with any type of game, decide the mechanics of gameplay, and either create art assets, a pitchbook, or demo version of the game. For my project I went with a point and click, storybased game in which the game mechanics involved collecting artifacts and solving puzzles to unlock new areas, which in turn would hold new artifacts and puzzles. In addition to this I created multiple art assets and a pitchbook detailing my ideas and process.
Relic Rush
This was part of my work in a Principles of Game Design class in which one of the projects was to create a board game, including the game play mechanics, rules, and art assets. I further expanded on the project in as part of a directed study, in which I reworked my original game idea from the class. I created a point based artifact collection that involves players moving their pieces across the board to collect artifacts and answer trivia questions in order to earn points.
